On March 18, 2022, Bengbu Dachan Food Co., Ltd. held the groundbreaking ceremony of a new feed plant with an annual output of 600,000 tons. Leaders of the headquarters attached great importance to this event, but they could not visit the site due to the impact of the epidemic in Beijing and Tianjin. Qingquan Wang, Director of PVM and Operation Director and Senior General Manager, heads of various departments of Bengbu Company, Consultant Zhicheng Wang, Associate Manager Yongxiang Gu, Associate Manager Hongping Yin along with engineering and technical staff, construction, and supervision personnel have attended this event.

At 10:00 a.m., the groundbreaking ceremony officially launched.

Speech by Senior General Manager Qingquan Wang: In 2022, Dachan Group will invest to build three factories in Guzhen, Anhui province, namely, feed factory, meat factory and food factory, with a total investment about 1 billion RMB. The production scale and sophistication of the new feed factory will be leading level for the industries in the province and Yangtze River Delta after it is put into operation. It will not only meet the feed demand of contract farming, but also layout of the hog feed market and use the old plant to produce the ruminant feed. He required to speed up the engineering construction progress, pursued high standards of safety and environmental protection, built the new plant into an annual production base of 600,000 tons of high-quality feed for Anhui and Central China, so as to provide high feed efficiency and safety products for the market and farmers, boost the transformation and upgrading of Anhui animal husbandry and sustainable development, drive farmers to increase their income and promote the sustained economic development of Guzhen Development Zone, thus achieving a win-win development and local benefits.

Senior General Manager Qingquan Wang and Consultant Zhicheng Wang, as the leaders of the user unit and the engineering department, led staff to offer incense and pray for good luck.

Project description: Bengbu Dachan new feed plant with annual processing of 600,000 tons is located in the west side of the Fourth Road and the north side of the third road in the Economic Development Zone of Guzhen County, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. The new feed plant covers an area of 6.1 hectares, with a total investment of more than 170 million RMB and a construction period of 1 year. The design capacity of the first project is 360,000 tons/year, and after the completion of the second project, the capacity will reach 600,000 tons/year. Under the premise of legal compliance, it realizes the separation of raw materials, clinker and office. From the perspective of food safety, high specification environmental protection requirements, automation, intelligence and energy saving, it realizes the modern enterprise management goals of three-dimensional storage, bulk transportation, production mechanization, control automation, management information, energy conservation, emission reduction and resource efficiency.
